It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year - especially when it's free!

Oh how I love Christmastime. It is truly one of my most favorite times of year. This is for so many reasons.
First, Christmas follows Autumn - the most wonderful season of the year. I love the fall! Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin bread and anything else pumpkin. I love the glory of watching the leaves change colors and the pine cones falling. I love decorating my home this time of year. I love the music. But, most of all I love sharing the reason for this season with friends.

One of the highlights of this time of year for me is opening my mailbox to find little red and green envelopes that hold within them pictures of those I hold dear. I love the ones that really remind me of the reason I love the person in the picture. The silly ones, vacation pictures, family pictures, pictures of pregnant bellies and new babies. These are my favorite cards...the ones with a picture of YOU on it!

This year I'll do Christmas cards with Shutterfly. I have used them recently for lots of things, but mainly photo books! This is my new favorite and low maintenance way to scrapbook. I'll probably give one or two as Christmas gifts. But, back to the Christmas Cards. Shutterfly has some beautiful new holiday cards and photo cards and story cards that are perfect for the Christmas cheer you are going to send me in the mail. The story cards are new to me, but really fun. Think Christmas card meets Christmas update letter. Cute, cute!

They have lots of other fun gift ideas like personalized calendars and more! I also love that they are running a promotion for bloggers to get 50 free cards here!

Check it out! Love me some cute gifts with my kids pictures plastered all over them.
For now, you'll find me browsing their inventory for the perfect card to put into your mailbox while listening to some Christmas music!

Giving in!

Well, I have held off for a while but am finally giving in to the beauty of blogging. By the way, I am going to have to think of a better name for this blog...
What a great way to keep family and friends updated on the latest happenings in our family and our lives. I can't promise regular posts or even that they will be worth reading, so keep the expectations low. We'll see how this goes....for now...check out the latest happenings in my little world:

There are the two peas in a pod cruising the hood:
